Nightingale Coastal Retreat

A fabulous, relaxing holiday! Positive: A a lovely, clean, comfortable mobile home overlooking the lake. The decking at the front was just perfect to sit and admire the view. It was so relaxing and everything we needed was there. Lauren was very pleasant and helpful. She always replied immediately to any query, even in the evening! Negative: Having to leave!!

Good base for a relaxing stay in one of my favourite places on earth Positive: Comfortable caravan and great location for walkers/wildlife watchers. Excellent communication with hosts - very clear instructions about how to reach the caravan, gain access and how to use the facilities. Note for those who don't drive (yes we do exist!): Thornwick Bay is easy to get to by public transport - I got the train and the number 14 bus, which goes into the site (stop before North Landing). If you have good mobility it's easy to get around on foot. Great location for walkers - the England Coast Path is nearby with well-marked cliff walks to Bempton and into Bridlington via the lighthouse, South Landing, Danes Dyke and Sewerby. Negative: The site is more like a holiday city than a village, much bigger than when I last came - but that was as a kid in the 70s! Good breakfast in the restaurant on site but far too raucous later in the day for my liking.

Positive: Very Spacious property. It had everything we needed for a very Comfortable stay. Great location. Not far from Amenities. All in all a great find! 😁 Negative: Nothing

Had a great time. Positive: Nice, quiet location but not far to entertainment. Loved the front decking overlooking the lake. Negative: To be really picky, no oven tray in oven.
